The Salvation Army has received approx. 12,000 applications for Christmas help and expects to distribute more than 8,000 aid packages to families in need in Denmark.

The many aid packages do not come just like that out of thin air, so there is a need for a large number of volunteers to help in packing the many bags.

This year, Mazars have contributed to the great voluntary work. On 15 December 2014, Senior Manager Mette Svendsen and Senior Manager Torben Pedersen Nyholm visited The Salvation Army’s headquarters in Copenhagen, Frederiksberg, as they wanted to contribute some of their business day to help some of the financially families in need in Denmark to be able to have a good Christmas, after all.

It is not every day that an auditor leaves the office with the feeling of having made a difference, but 15 December 2014 was an exception.
