Senior Accountant (2 vacancies)

The position as Senior Accountant in Mazars Denmark will expose you to a wide range of accounting disciplines within primarily Accounting & Compliance, and Management Accounting & Reporting.

You will be part of our accounting team with reference to the team leader. Our customer portfolio consists of Danish as well as international companies within different industries and of different sizes. We also collaborate closely with our international Mazars offices; hence some of the work is referred from our partners abroad.

Together with your team leader you will plan the assignments that suit your competencies and challenge you professionally. Your internal education plan as well as personal development is continuously assessed based on evaluation of completed assignments and performance conversations.

Key Responsibilities

• Involvement in full services towards our customers, especially within:
  • Accounting & Compliance
  • Management Accounting & Reporting

• Also involvement in:
  • Payroll Services (in the team)
  • Legal & Administration (in the team).

We are looking for

We are looking for someone with a successful track record within accounting. You know your accounting processes very well, and you always think one step ahead with a focus on constant improvement. You bring positive energy to the team and work with a high degree of integrity.

The ideal profile is someone who has:

• 3-5 years accounting experience and good knowledge of all accounting disciplines
• A basic understanding of VAT laws in Denmark and experience with Dataløn/bluegarden, e-conomic, NAV, C5, SAP is preferred, but not a must
• Good IT literacy and preferably experience working with more than one economy system
• The ability to see the bigger picture and make independent decisions - but with a pragmatic, hands-on approach.
