Supporting Breast Cancer 2013

Sunday 1 September 2013, the Danish Cancer Society and Copenhagen Racecourse in Klampenborg decided to tie the characteristic pink bow on the tradition-bound “Ladies Day”. Mazars was the main sponsor to support the fight against breast cancer.

It was a day of horse racing, beautiful hats, donation racing with and without horsepower and a lot of money for the Danish Cancer Society's “Supporting Breast Cancer” campaign.

Mazars supported with DKK 10,000, which goes to research, prevention and patient support. Mazars believes that as long as 3 Danish women die of breast cancer every day, it is a vital matter to support. Every year, nearly 5,000 Danish women are diagnosed with breast cancer, and right now, more than 56,000 Danish women live with the disease. Therefore, there remains a great need for awareness of the disease and research on prevention and treatment.
